Shetland Pony & Friends Forest School combines the proven benefits of outdoor learning with the unique magic of animal interaction. Set in our beautiful woodland, these sessions encourage children to explore, take risks, and learn in a natural environment.

What makes our Forest School unique?

Unlike traditional forest schools, our sessions integrate our friendly animals. Children learn not just about the woods, but about empathy, care, and communication through interacting with our ponies, goats, bunnies, and birds.

What happens in a session?

Sessions are led by a qualified forest school practitioner and include nature crafts, woodland exploration, mindfulness, and, of course, spending time with the animals.
